IKI is the new handle designed by Mario Scairato and Alessandro Stabile for Dnd: it is characterized by a formal palindromic construction, in which the profile of the upper view is identical to that of the front view, overturned 180 degrees. An elegant and essential shape, in which the sharp edges generate a changing volume that ends with semicircular shapes and suggests the user the grip with its frontal profile. 
The concept of balance between opposites dear to the philosophy of Japan suggested to the designers the name IKI, also a palindrome, which means “simple, sophisticated, and spontaneous”.
